15 year old girl, chubby with glasses and really long hair, wearing baggy clothes (dark t-shirt, jeans).DAD:
50 year old man, long pony tail but a growing receding hairline. bushy beard. slim. has a biker look going on but a very kind face, very smiley.DRIVER:
A bald man who could be in his early 30s. Pretty built, like he goes to the gym a lot. No facial hair. Very kind and energetic.

CHELSEA: "Oh no!" (groan) "I forgot my bathing suit!"
Panel 2: DRIVER is paying attention to the road and talking over his shoulder
DRIVER: "Can you call someone to bring it?" "I can stop up here."
Panel 3: Outside shot of the car with "rest stop 1 Mile" sign on side of the highway
"We're only half an hour away" "so we can wait for a bit."
Panel 4: CHELSEA dialing a number on her cellphone while looking out the window of the van
SFX: ring ring ring
Panel 5: CHELSEA looking a bit relieved.
CHELSEA: "Hey, dad?"

Panel 1: CHELSEA is sitting on the bench outside the car looking down at her shoes
Panel 2: a white car pulls up into a parking space
Panel 3: CHELSEA jumps up and runs to driver's door as DAD steps out
CHELSEA: "Dad!"
Panel 4: DAD gives CHELSEA a bear hug.
DAD: "Hey there dork." "Sorry I took so long."
Panel 5: DAD hands CHELSEA a bag, looking a bit tired/exhausted. Chelsea looks confused and concerned.
DAD: "Had quite a scare coming here.."
CHELSEA: "Oh no, what happened?" "Are you ok?"

Panel 1: DAD sits down on bench and rubs his face,
"There was an accident..."
Panel 2: (flashback) you see DAD's white Jeep driving south down interstate i95,
Panel 3: on the other side going north a van swerves off the road,
Panel 4: cut to DAD's reaction as he sees it

Panel 1: DAD takes a quick sharp turn using the "police turn" shortcut to cut over to the other side
Panel 2: The van is in the flooded ditch, sinking, feeble "HELP" and *gurgle* sfx comes from it
Panel 3: DAD climbs on top of the van and breaks the glass
Panel 4: He grabs a hand and pulls a man out

Panel 1: Man is gasping for air on the ground as DAD turns back to the van, police sirens can be heard (end flashback)
Panel 2: CHELSEA looks at dad with awe and worry, holding onto the bag
"Wow.." "I'm suddenly glad I forgot my swimsuit.."
Panel 3: DAD kisses CHELSEA's forehead
"Everything happens for a reason."
Panel 4: DRIVER calls for CHELSEA by the white van with the kids loading in
